SEA Water introduces glass bottle

Designed to stay in circulation, not in the trash
We’re proud to introduce our newest addition: the 750ml SEA Water glass bottle, just like our cans available in both still and sparkling. Designed with the hospitality industry in mind, this bottle isn’t just about aesthetics, it’s about creating a smarter, more sustainable system. Instead of being thrown away, our bottles are meant to stay in circulation. They’re returned, washed, refilled, and served again. It’s a local, deposit-based solution that helps eliminate single-use waste, while keeping quality high and emissions low.

At SEA Water, we believe water shouldn’t travel thousands of kilometers to get to your table. That’s why we source ours straight from the North Sea, just a stone’s throw away from our desalination facility in IJmuiden. Using 100% solar and wind energy, we remove all unwanted minerals and salt, then add back a careful blend of minerals for a neutral, clean taste, refreshing and pure, with no aftertaste. The result is a premium water that complements any meal, without leaving a big footprint.
The idea for SEA Water was born back in 2018, when brothers Tammo and Jort were surfing in Cape Town during a severe water crisis. Surrounded by ocean, yet faced with empty reservoirs, they were struck by the absurdity of water scarcity in a world of rising seas. That moment became the start of something bigger. Today, SEA Water sustainably turns seawater into high-quality drinking water: innovation with impact.
Available from May 2025
The new 750ml glass bottle will be available for restaurants, cafés, and hotels across the Netherlands from May this year. If you’re ready to serve better water, without the plastic or the emissions, we’d love to hear from you.
