We have received many positive reactions to the launch of SEA Water in recent weeks, but we have also noticed critical voices regarding the packaging of our product. As a result, we’ve decided to discontinue the sale of SEA Water in drinking cartons at Albert Heijn.
We initially chose cartons because research showed that it has a smaller CO2 impact than alternative packaging. We are aware that the packaging is not yet perfect and we are continuously improving and renewing our product.
Refreshing a conservative market as a pioneer is, of course, quite a challenge. Fortunately, as a start-up, we can quickly switch and adapt where necessary. Which is why we are working hard behind the scenes to find an alternative packaging.
We believe that there is a better way to consume water locally when tap water is out of reach, and are convinced that with SEA Water we can make a positive impact in the established market of on-the-go water.
